THE CREATOR
Welcome to Cup & Poem. I am Justin Gredlics, an artist and operations specialist based in Westbrook, Maine. This space serves as the organic root of my creative output, built upon a 15-year career of high-volume frontline operations, which includes a decade of dedicated hospitality expertise and extensive municipal event logistics. I process the world through a lens of high-speed curiosity and structural logic, balancing a dynamic career in city administration with ongoing studies at Johnson & Wales University.
OPERATIONAL RIGOR
Logistics & Administration: By day, I execute facility maintenance, physical asset management, and safety protocols for major municipal venues with the City of Portland.
Systems & Workflows: My professional foundation relies on error-free administration, having managed critical night audits, financial system closeouts, and complex irregular operations for major brands like Hilton and Delta Airlines.
THE CREATIVE METHODOLOGY
The Analog Foundation: The strict operational mindset required in my daily career directly fuels my art. Every visual narrative and asset begins as a raw, hand-drawn, tactile illustration.
Technical Synthesis: To ensure total creative control and high-fidelity output, these analog concepts are systematically digitized and vectorized within Adobe Illustrator.
The Ecosystem: Whether I am managing active event footprints on an arena floor or building out the digital architecture for Cup & Poem, my methodology remains the same: disciplining controlled chaos into scalable, professional-grade assets.
